• Utilize strong manufacturing engineering mindset and previous experience in the automotive industry to secure and coordinate joining equipment (e.g. fixtures, pallets, lift tools), from supplier evaluation to installation, commissioning and hand over; • Provide experience from System Solution (DRMs), Supplier Capabilities and Measuring of current Products; • Develop and design your equipment and process area (Battery and/ or Electrical engine production) according to Volvo standards; • Improve the techniques & methods used by the team following the project through product development & feedback, to achieve flawless launch according to project KPI requirement for Battery or Electrical engine; • Take part in RFQ=Request For Quotation of equipment - cost estimations, development of process concepts, supplier relations, continuous alignment with customers, installing and commissioning; • Previous manufacturing engineering as well as geometry experience working on equipment projects (project lead/installation/commissioning), is mandatory; • Joining process and technology knowledge (e.g. laser welding, arc welding, plasma treatment, adhesive); • Previous working experience with sourcing process (internal & external relations in sourcing); • Joint system knowledge; • Preferred engineering education: Mechanical/Mechatronic, Manufacturing, Automation, Electrical, or equivalent; • Problem-solving DMAIC knowledge • FMEA experience • Good understanding of Teamcenter, CATIA V5, Auto CAD • Ability and willingness to travel within and outside Europe, although based in Kosice District, Slovakia • Not only an individual contributor attitude but also an ability to work within a multinational team • Self-starter and troubleshooting attitude, high level of communication skills, curiosity to learn new technologies • Analytic and engineering data reporting skills
